Parameters and Settings

You need to know two main parameters when setting the e-mail programs: the servers for receiving and sending the electronic mail. The first one is "Incoming Mail Server" that is used for receiving e-mail messages. The second one is "Outgoing Mail Server" – it is the computer on TEOL net that sends out your electronic mail.

You need to enter the two following parameters when registering your account:
Account name: your username
Password: your password
Your e-mail address is your username followed by ''.

Setting Outlook Express
1. Start Outlook Express.
2. Click on Tools (at the top).
3. Select Accounts. You will open "Internet Accounts" window.
4. Select Mail page.
5. Click Add (at the top right corner).
6. Select Mail. This action will start "Setup Wizard".
7. Enter your name (the one you want to be seen by those that receive your messages). Click Next.
8. Enter your e-mail address. Click Next.
9. Your "incoming" (POP3) server is:, and your "outgoing" (SMTP) server is: Click Next.
10. Enter your username and password (that you defined when opening your account).
11. Do not select "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)".
12. Click Next and then Finish.
13. Click Close. This ends the procedure of configuration Outlook Express for sending and receiving mail from TEOL account.

Instructions for Placing Your Personal Presentation
Each user that opens the account for the Internet access is entitled to a free of charge placing of their web presentation for the maximum of 200 files, with the total size of 5 MB.
Subscribers’ presentations are placed by one of FTP programs (you can find some of the most popular ones on our FTP server ( Windows -Internet- FTP.
The access address is, and you log in with your username and password.
Then simply copy previously created presentation from your hard disc to our server with one of FTP programs.

Instructions for Using Webmail

When you access the address , you will see a simple log-in page. All you need to do is to enter your username, the server name from which you receive your mail and your password. TEOL’s server is entered as default server. You can enter any other pop3 server name in this field, i.e. the server of some other provider that is opened for Web access.
Under the option Interface you can choose between three offered interfaces, i.e. the appearance of the client’s e-mail that appears once you log in. If you select the “Advanced” option of the interface that offers the appearance of a classic Outlook Express, you need to enable opening of so called pop-up windows that are usually blocked by firewall or some other pop-up blocker. (Users usually choose to have such a program for more comfort while they work, since it prevents a frequent popping-up of unwanted windows containing various warnings, ads, etc).

At the address that the link at the bottom of the page sends you to, there is the log in page for those subscribers that have their accounts opened on domains that are "hosted" at the Webmail server. These are so called local accounts. This is an interesting option for companies (and also for individuals) that can register a domain via TEOL, and then have the option to administer e-mail accounts on those domains.

For example, at the domain, the subadmin of that domain (it is logged on at can open as much e-mail accounts as they purchased from TEOL. It is possible to access these accounts through the Webmail by selecting the above-mentioned domain in the drop down domain list, and by entering the appropriate username of the account and password. In addition, it is possible to access these mailboxes also from classic e-mail clients such as OE, where it is only necessary to set a new account in settings, and then enter the username in the form of e.g. and the appropriate password in it. By selecting the link that sends you to checking so called external accounts you can easily return from the page for accessing these local accounts to the page for checking your e-mail on TEOL server.
In the top right corner of both pages you can find links for frequently asked questions, as well as the link for changing password on the page for local accounts. The password change option applies only to users that have local accounts, i.e. the accounts on domains that are hosted at the Webmail. To change the password at TEOL mail server you need to use the subscriber panel at the address
According to the previously defined settings, the space for e-mail messages is 10 MB. The part that totally resembles Outlook Express relates to boxes – Inbox, Trash, Sent, Drafts.

The following useful options are also available:
• Start Page – the page where you can enter an obligation into the calendar or a new task (the Webmail will remind you of it by sending a reminder e-mail), review of the inbox state, occupancy of the e-mail quota, as well as the log-in history, i.e. the review of connections on the Webmail.
• Email settings – settings for the Webmail account.
• User Profile – for modifying the user profile in the sense of personal data and data related to the account.
• Folder Manager/Email filters – adding new inboxes, reading the contents, Spam/Email filtering, as well as separating e-mails.
• Multi Accounts – creating/deleting additional e-mail accounts for checking, via the same interface. In this way it is possible to access any other external pop3 server.
Log In Troubleshooting

Error 633: The port is already in use
The modem access is busy with another program.

Error 678: There is no answer
This means that the remote computer – the server – is not answering. This error appears if you have problems with a telephone line, your modem cannot negotiate with the modem at modem ports or if you are dialing the wrong number.
Please verify that the telephone cord is connected from the wall jack directly into the modem outlet labeled “LINE”. Make sure you entered a correct number to dial. Turn the modem sound up so that you can hear the dialing procedure and negotiations with the modem at the modem ports of the server. If after this you do not hear the dialing or the modem negotiations try to reconfigure the modem. Sometimes it is enough only to restart your computer and try calling again.

Error 680: There is no dial tone
If you receive the above-mentioned message you have to turn off the option "Wait for dial tone before dialing".
You can turn this option off by clicking on My Computer / Control Panel / Modems / mark the modem through which you connect to the Internet and click “Properties”, open the card “Connection” and in the field “Call preferences” turn off the option “Wait for dial tone before dialing”. After turning the option off, click “OK”. In addition, you need to repeat these steps in the connection you are trying to make contact with. My Computer / Control Panel / Dial-Up Networking, right click at the connection you are contacting and choose “Properties”. Under the card “General” click “Configure”, open the card ”Connection”, and in the field “Call preferences” turn off the option “Wait for dial tone before dialing”. Click “OK”. Now try to connect to the Internet.
In this case you also need to check if the modem is connected properly: Check the cable that connects the modem outlet and the wall jack. Also check if the line is not busy by another phone in the house or a fax machine.

Error 691: Access denied because username and/or password is invalid on the domain
In 99% of cases this happens because the user mistyped the username or password, although he/she is certain that they typed it correctly.
When this happens, check if you entered your username and password correctly and/or if you entered the correct number you need to connect to. Also pay attention to small and capital letters (check if you have Caps Lock turned on).

Error 692: There was a hardware failure in the modem (or other connecting device)
The modem is broken or not properly installed.

Error 777: The connection attempt failed because the modem (or other connecting device) on the remote computer is out of order.
